We have permanent and fixed term opportunities.

This is an exciting time to join a growing team of dynamic professionals as early intervention is becoming a growing priority nationally.

We are looking for highly motivated, creative individuals to join our team that is committed to improving child and adolescent mental health in Hertfordshire.

Step2 is an Early Intervention CAMHS service that is seeking to recruit an innovative, enthusiastic practitioner who has training and experience of working therapeutically with young people. The individual will be committed to providing high quality of care for children and young people while working in a dynamic, supportive and caring team.

You will be part of the triage and assessment team delivering high quality assessments and formulations of mild to moderate mental health difficulties. You will hold a small treatment caseload in addition.

Educated to post graduate level in a child mental health discipline you will be delivering highly skilled clinical work. You will be expected to work flexibly, willing to work across the County of Hertfordshire and be able to adapt the way you work to best meet the needs of our most vulnerable children and families.

You will have a key role in assessing mental health needs, formulating treatment plans and liaising with partners and families to ensure the treatment pathway is most appropriate for that child.

Interviews will be held on week commencing 15th March, this is likely to be remotely.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
