Are you an enthusiastic dietitian with an interest in working with children and young people with diabetes?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic dietitian, with experience in diabetes (adult and/ or paediatrics), to join our dietetic team and work with the children’s and young peoples’ (CYP) diabetes team within the East and North Herts NHS trust locality.
The successful candidate will work with the CYP diabetes team, to help deliver the Best Practice Tariff, alongside a band 7 and band 6 dietitian already working within the CYP diabetes team. The team also comprises paediatricians, children’s diabetes nurses and psychologist and the successful candidate will have both excellent clinical and communication skills to enable them to be a successful member of the team.
We are committed to staff training and CPD, participate regularly in student training and have a robust appraisal and supervisory framework. Mobile working has been been implemented within the Nutrition and Dietetic Service, further aiding our ability to work across a wide variety of settings including home, schools and acute hospital clinics.
In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement (pro rata where applicable).
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purpose is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
